Mary Currie
Founder & Creative Director
Mary Elise Currie is the creative director at Toronto Flower School. With 40 years experience in the flower business, her love of flowers and contemporary design brings her to the forefront of the au courant floral education culture.
With a love for the most current florals and a quest to never stop learning, Mary is bestowing her mission of creativity, beauty, and skill to her students.
When not training the next generation of floral designers, Mary and her daughter Alex are kept busy running The Monarch Florists and Flower Baby Floristry in Mississauga.
Flowers are native to our blood and to be with them every day is fulfilling.
Robin Noble
Creative Director & Designer
Robin Noble is the creative director at the all-new Vancouver Flower School.
Partnering with Mary Currie at Toronto Flower School, Robin is bringing her love of florals, teaching and creativity to the Greater Vancouver area.
Robins love of florals was nurtured at an early age when she spent summers with Mary at The Monarch Florists in Toronto. In 2012 Mary went on to open Toronto Flower School, Eastern Canada’s answer to contemporary floral training, and now Robin is following suit bringing the love of everything artistic in floristry to the West Coast.
With a background in Fine Arts and Interior Design, she is no stranger to the process of Interdisciplinary Design. She is proudly acknowledged in her industry and has shaped the contemporary face of homes and businesses in Vancouver.
Sharing the love for anything floral and a mission to never stop learning, Robin and her team plan to bestow creativity and talent, while nurturing skill to her students. When not preparing for her students at Vancouver Flower School Robin owns and operates rn interiors inc. and instructs in the Interior Design program at BCIT.

Last year, on a one-day site design adventure, our students beautifully transformed Harding Waterfront Estates into a magical 1930s wedding venue. Bride, groom, musicians and feast all included. Their work was submitted to Vogue and chosen among hundreds of submissions. Every student received a full portfolio of photos from the event, perfect for their social media or advertising on their websites.
